150 years General Henri Guisan
Henri Guisan, the general who led Switzerland through the Second World War, would have turned 150 years old this year. To honor and commemorate his birthday, Swiss Post Ltd. has dedicated a special stamp to him, which I had the honor of designing. The original stamp from 1969 has been revised and given a contemporary look, with a focus on highlighting Guisan’s personality rather than his role as a general.
